Fundserv Management Interface for Dealers

The Fundserv management interface for dealers is a free web service that allows dealers to transfer quickly and easily Fundserv data (reconciliation and transactions) for their brokers to the Kronos Web application.

Functional Capabilities

  • Approve, reject or cancel rep codes
  • Guarantee secure and daily Fundserv data transfers only for approved rep codes
  • Transfers may be automated without human intervention
  • Block modifications for mutual or segregated fund in Kronos Web to protect data integrity.

How Does Rep Code Management Work?

Rep codes are always saved by broker in his/her Kronos Web account. Dealers are not responsible for configuring rep codes in Kronos Web.

Life Cycle of a FundServ Transfer

  1. Brokers save rep codes in Kronos Web
  2. An email notice is sent to dealer to inform him/her of new rep code approval requests
  3. Dealers must approve or reject new rep codes
  4. If code is approved, code transactions will be:
    1. Extracted from Fundserv files
    2. Transferred to Kronos Web
    3. Integrated (in read-only) into Kronos Web's broker database.
  5. Dealers may revoke rep codes and cancel transfers at any time.

How are Transfers Extracted from Fundserv Files?

The extraction program extracts transactions once a day, but only for rep codes approved by dealer. These extraction results are sent to the Kronos Web servers through a secure web service.

Is it Secure?

It is very secure.

  • Transfers are always made via the https:// protocol
  • Only approved rep code transactions may be transferred
  • Data is integrated in read-only and cannot be altered by the broker
  • Program may be used in off-line mode to validate any extraction
  • The source code included with the program is short and easy to understand.
